Social Media Supports Anna Hazare’s Corruption Motion

Anti-Corruption crusade has rocked in virtual world too, supports of Anna Hazare flooded tweets & statuses over country’s corruption scenario. Good to notice that it has not only drawn numbers from Delhi to Jantar Mantar but also on Facebook & Twitter platform. In cyberspace as well Facebook and Twitter became the bastions of opinion on the Internet. You can easily find abundance of pages, statuses, events and tweets in support of the movement.

As per as recent counts, the India Against Corruption Facebook page had received 1,45,682 ‘likes’. Activist & Leader, Hazare has himself at least 500 pages on Facebook dedicated to him. Motion is spreading via their status messages, to support the cause and physically go to Jantar Mantar, the 16th century astronomical observatory. He is still fasting onto death for Anti-Corruption Lokpal Bill & rallying support for the cause. Equally debates are ongoing on Twitter, as well, with people, conversant and clueless (one tweet…..)

Numerous people from the different cities have pledged their support virtually, but also planning and announcing rallies and protest marches in their localities. SMS & Email already flooded across the country wide, everyone wants to send SMS & email to Honorable PM & Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi.

There were some, however, who displayed infuriation at Indian cricketers and at the Indian Premier League (IPL), which began on Friday, for not declaring support for Hazare. Mohan Iyer wrote: “Its so sad that the cricketers who won the world cup and were put on the plinth by the Indian people aren’t even emblematically supporting the reason… do they merit the support that they got when they needed it
Whereas the community called ‘Join Anna Hazare’s Fast To Bring the Jan Lokpal Bill’ has reported nearly 21,833 members already, where users have posted strong comments criticizing the government & corrupted politicians. Crusade on Rock !!!

Movie Review: Delhi Belly

Are you having orange juice or tandoori chicken? Then reconsider, because after watching this film you’ll never ever have these edibles again, thanks to the Bollywood’s first nauseated version, which is out now! Don’t get me wrong I’m not bashing Delhi Belly in fact, it’s a compliment as it only goes down to show that toilet humour used Delhi Belly rocks! as it’s not flushed down the toilet.

Tashi (Imran Khan) is a journalist who is struggling for hardcore news and is not sure about his relationship, Arup (Vir Das) is a Visualizer in an ad agency who’s not able to decide who to kill first- his girlfriend (who just dumped him) or his super nagging boss and Nitin (Kunaal Roy Kapur) is a photographer who is suffering from the worst Delhi Belly case. Three blokes, one shady apartment and a small mishap by Tashi’s girlfriend Sonia ( Shenaz Treasurywala) which triggers a maddening chase that gets them in the hit list of one of the world’s deadliest crime syndicates owned by Vijay Raz. There are enough frenzy moments in the film that keeps you intact in your seat. Kunaal Roy Kapur constant grips, growls and loo exploits are unmatchable. Director Abhinay Deo and writer Akshat Verma knows the nerve center of its urban audience which is why they gave an exceptional treatment to a tepid storyline. The brilliance of this film lies in characterization of the ensemble cast. Minute detailing is added through fabulous make-up. Also, kudos to the Cinematographer- Jason West, Editor- Huzefa Lokhandwala and Art Director-Shashank Tere for creating ubercool frames. Each and every frame gives you 200 percent more value to what you have spent on your ticket. And that’s fabulous production value. Music by Ramsampath only adds to value to this superb creation.

Delhi Belly as some might say is India’s first X-rated film. Indeed! It’s crude, crass, abusive and bawdy humour justifies this title, but is it just about that? Well the answer is NO. Delhi Belly has what’s most of its youth centric contemporaries lack- a well etched out plot which is neat, tight and moves almost like a bullet. And please the language doesn’t corrupt your morals; after all we live in CALIFORNICATION age, don’t we? I agree we don’t practice vulgar gestures or use abusive language in our house but let’s face it we are exposed to it. So it’s only mature to look beyond the ‘GAALIS AND OVERDOSE OF TOILET HUMOUR’ debate and appreciate this unbridled farce. Also, Delhi Belly is one big tight slap on those comedy filmmakers whose sense of humour is almost infantile. Its high time guys you wake-up and take a notice of such films and please stop treating your audience as retards. Bravo censor boards for showing maturity and clearing the film with no cuts and beeps. My biggest issue with the film however is despite the setting it lacks Delhi flavour. It exhibits Delhi only with respect to its location and art direction. The culture is far far way and that’s a big question mark.

This flick is surely a trendsetter with respect to marketing and strategy which is expected from the Marketing Hancock Aamir Khan. Almost all popular songs in the film were shot separately and are open to its audience on YOUTUBE or UTV motion picture website which, in a way is a good strategy as it only adds value to the overall product also helps in maintaining the pace of the film. Plus mamu jaan’s item number I hate you IN BRACKETS (like I love you) as a Disco Fighter has already become a talking point. Plus the film has no interval and is released in two versions- Hinglish and Hindi. So take your pick guys if you carry no extra baggage about sensibilities being attacked, principally ok with the language being used or overdose of lavatory humour and that’s what exactly mamu-jaan says in the promo. Enjoy the film with an informed decision as this flick promises no dull moments

India's batting future remains uncertain

India's old firm of batsmen have played a big role over the years, particularly in the last three seasons, to install the team on top of the Test cricket ladder. But the current West Indies tour has kicked off a transition period where the country looks to spot potential replacements for their aging greats greats Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and VVS Laxman
The series against the struggling Caribbean side is seen as a perfect opportunity for the young batsmen to pass their apprenticeships in the absence of Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir and Tendulkar.

However, a consistent West Indies bowling attack has showed that they have a lot of convincing to do, leave alone force their way into the side.

While Rohit Sharma waits in the wings, openers Abhinav Mukund, 21, who made his debut in the first Test in Kingston, the more experienced Murali Vijay as well as Virat Kohli, have not found ways to counter the pace and bounce.

With India due to play in England and Australia in the next few months, pace will be their constant companion.

Vijay, 27, had played 10 Tests as a replacement opener going into the Barbados Test and his technique and temperament have been exposed. In the two Tests he has played away from the sub-continent, in Durban last year (19 and 9) and in Kingston, where Ravi Rampaul knocked him over for 8 and 0 - he has flopped.

Virat Kohli has looked clueless against pace and bounce that has dented his reputation as a hot talent.

Suresh Raina has showed signs he is overcoming the short ball problem. But these are still early days.

Skipper MS Dhoni has told the youngsters not to be too hard on themselves.

"What is important is not to get desperate to score runs. When you are desperate you add more pressure on yourself."

Anna Hazare sets Aug 15 deadline for Lokpal Bill

NEW DELHI: Beginning his day-long hunger strike at Rajghat to protest against corruption and the recent police brutality, the 73-year-old-Gandhi devotee Anna Hazare said that if the Lokpal Bill was not passed, he would fast unto death at Jantar Mantar from August 16.

Anna described his movement as the second battle of independence but underlined Gandhi's non-violent path. He said his Wednesday fast was to condemn the police action on Ramdev's supporters at Ramlila ground. Anna likened the police brutality to the British repression of Indians in Jalianwala Bagh on April 13, 1919. He advised his supporters to refrain from violence. "The government is very powerful, if we indulge in violence, it will give the government an excuse to quash the movement," he warned.

The Gandhian reiterated, "The government has forgotten that people are the masters and not the government. They need to understand that we are one, not different."

Anna is holding his symbolic one-day fast at Rajghat, the site where Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation, was cremated. Thousands of Anna supporters came out to join his fast despite severe heat and made their way through heavy police presence at the venue. Nationalistic songs in catchy beats were sung and cheered at passionately by Anna supporters. Baba Ramdev's Bharat Swabhiman Trust activists were also seen among the massive crowd. Lots of people have been stopped ahead of barricades because of the heavy turnout.

Earlier, the veteran lawyer and civil society member of the drafting committee on Lokpal bill, Shanti Bhushan described Anna Hazare the modern day Gandhi. At this the crowed cheered loudly.

Taking a dig at the Congress led UPA govenment Bhushan said, "The (UPA) ministers don't know constitution. They think of themselves as viceroys of the British era. The right of the police to invoke section 144 was misused for Jantar Mantar to justify the unjust action at Ramlila." Bhushan reiterated that the movement against corruption was not about the lokpal bill but about fundamental rights.

The social activist and leader of the 'Indian Against Corruption' movement Arvind Kejriwal said that if his agitation became communal, he would be the first person to leave it. Kejriwal was referring to the government accusation that the anti-corruption movement was a communal Hindu right wing sponsored movement.

resume Siachen talks today between india and pakistan

After a gap of three years, defence secretary-level talks between India and Pakistan on the long-pending Siachen issue will kick off in New Delhi on Monday. Defence secretary Pradeep Kumar will lead the Indian delegation during the two-day talks with his Pakistani counterpart Lt General (Retd)

Syed Ather Ali. India and Pakistan have decided to resume their dialogue, which was put on hold after the November 2008 Mumbai terror attack, following meetings between their prime ministers in Thimpu in April 2010.

Pakistan’s defence secretary Lt General (retd) Syed Ather Ali arrived in New Delhi on Saturday for the 12th round of talks, which will conclude on Tuesday.

While the Pakistani delegation has two civilian officials and four military officers, the Indian side includes special secretary RK Mathur, director general of military operations (DGMO) Lt General AM Verma and surveyor general S Subha Rao, defence officials said.

Siachen, the world’s highest militarised zone, has been a long pending issue between India and Pakistan over differences on the location of the 110-km long Actual Ground Position Line (AGPL) which passes through the Soltoro Ridge and Siachen glacier.

“The AGPL is not clearly marked beyond the grid reference point of NJ-9842. The two countries have decided to de-militarise the Siachen glacier, but the matter is stuck as there are apprehensions on both sides,” officials said.

India wants Pakistan to authenticate the AGPL, both on the maps and the ground, as it occupies most of the dominating posts on the Saltoro Ridge, they said.

Pakistan, in turn, has been insisting on maintaining the pre-1972 troop positions as agreed in the Simla Agreement. Retaliating to Pakistan Army’s advances in the glacier in 1984, India launched Operation Meghdoot and deployed its troops in most of the dominating features in the area.

The defence secretary-level talks between the two countries on Siachen dates back to 1985. The decision to hold joint talks was taken by the then Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and Pakistan President General Zia-ul-Haq.

Samsung ready to launch Galaxy S II In India on 3rd june

After the great success of Samsung Glaxy s1 in india ,the officials of Samsung are now going to launch Galaxy S II in india .the indian market of mobile is growing at unlimted speed and all big cell phone companies want to participate in this growing consumer market .

The Samsung Galaxy S II has managed to blow us all away by its sheer brilliance and hardware capabilities. We got our first glimpse of the device during the Mobile World Congress in February.
The handset will be launched via Vodafone on June 3. Vodafone will sell the handset for Rs.32,890 which isn't much considering that the entry-level iPhone 4 to be launched in India will cost about Rs.2000 more.
Interested buyers may also pre-order their phones via Samsung's website from May 26 onwards for Rs.1000. It seems like Vodafone customers will have the privilege of getting the device first, followed by other Samsung retail outlets in India where the device will be available from June 9. Vodafone users will also be offered 6 GB of free data usage (1 GB per month for a span of 6 months).

This handset is the successor to the equally popular Samsung Galaxy S, which sold around 10 million units worldwide. Something similar can be expected from the Galaxy S II, and with the device that the Galaxy S II is, we don't think that should be too difficult. The Indian markets will be getting the 16 GB variant of the Galaxy S II.

Specifications:
The Galaxy S II will feature a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display, an 8 Megapixel camera capable of recording 1080p Full HD video, a 1.2 GHz dual core processor and Android 2.3 Gingerbread with the latest iteration of Samsung's TouchWiz i.e. the TouchWiz 4.0.

US remarked emerging India's roles in Asia Pacific

WASHINGTON: The US welcomes India's greater involvement in East Asia and is committed to working with New Delhi as it increases ties with US allies in Southeast Asia and Japan, a senior US official has said.

"Ultimately, we think that India's role in the Asian-Pacific region stands to be one of the most important new developments over the course of the next decade," Assistant Secretary of State for East Asia Kurt Campbell told reporters Wednesday.

Offering to help India and China improve their relations, he said: "We also, frankly, support an improvement in dialogue between India and China, and we would seek to take steps to facilitate that as we move forward."
Back in November 2009, India had expressed deep concern over a joint statement issued after President Barack Obama's China visit acknowledging Beijing's role in South Asia. Among other things, it "welcomed all efforts conducive to peace, stability and development in South Asia".

It also supported "the improvement and growth of relations between India and Pakistan" and expressed readiness "to strengthen communication, dialogue and cooperation on issues related to South Asia and work together to promote peace, stability and development in that region".

However, after Chinese President Hu Jintao's visit to Washington last month, the joint statement made no reference to South Asia apparently in response to New Delhi's sensitivities.

Downplaying the absence of a reference to Beijing's role in South Asia in the latest US-China joint statement, Washington said it did not necessarily reflect a change in policy.

Though the joint statement issued here after Obama's talks with Hu made no direct reference to South Asia it clearly stated, "The presidents further reaffirmed their commitment to the November 2009 US - China Joint Statement."

Hazare-led anti-corruption movement ,Change is finally here, light of new rays for indian anticorruption movement

It is natural, particularly for the youth, to be part of a revolution. Just witness the outpouring of support for what was considered to be India’s Tahrir Square — the Hazare-led anti-corruption movement. Very likely, it was our anxiety to be part of a movement, any movement, so that we could show solidarity with the jasmine revolution in the Middle East.

Most likely, the real revolution in India will be happening as you read this forecast. After 34 years of undiluted power, the last of the Communists are going to resign themselves to their worldwide fate of extinction. They should get less than 60 seats in an assembly of 294 seats. That is elimination. Perhaps I exaggerate — at last count there was a Communist party in Cuba, North Korea and Venezuela.

Hints of this forthcoming doom are contained in the Communist manifesto, sorry, the CPM Election Manifesto for the 2011 state elections. Of the three main objectives stated in the manifesto, number one is the following, and it bears quotation in full: “Our main objective is to improve (the) living standard of families below the poverty line and to create opportunities of employment” (emphasis added). Further, if the poor are the base of support for the CPM, then they have lots to worry about. By their own admission, poverty is down to only 20-odd per cent according to the old official poverty line. Which means there are less and less supporters for those whose only slogan is “for the benefit of the poor”. This is a key point and suggests that the CPM has been caught in a time warp of its own making

emerging india ,new factory ,new index for ,indian business

NEW DELHI -- India plans to launch a new industrial output index in June that will reflect April's factory output growth, underscoring the country's recent attempts to add, or refresh, a slew of macroeconomic indicators to help policy makers better assess economic trends.

"How many articles will be included in the new index will be decided Tuesday when the Committee of Secretaries meet," M.C. Singhi, senior economic adviser to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, said on Monday.

The new series is expected to have more than 300 items as against the current index's 213 and shift its base year to 2004-05 from 1993-94, aligning itself with the recently launched monthly wholesale price index and a consumer price index for rural and urban workers.

Industrial output readings have come under severe criticism from economist

s who blame the archaic composition of the index and non-reliable data collection methods for volatile prints.

In 2010, the readings have swung from 11.30% in October to 3.62% in November.

The most-recent February reading that rose 3.6% from a year earlier was sharply below the median estimate of a 5.2% rise in a poll of 15 economists.

Collecting quality data is extremely difficult in an economy with such a large income disparity and undergoing rapid structural change. A majority of India's 1.2 billion people lives in rural areas on less than $2 a day, which mostly goes toward food. A fast-growing urban middle class, meanwhile, is spending a larger portion of its income on electronics, cars and other trappings of a developed economy.

The proposed index will try to address some of these issues, as it seeks to include personal computers and mobile telephones replacing obsolete type writers and sewing machines.

"Ideally, once the index is revamped with a larger and more relevant basket of products, we should see a higher industrial growth rate, specially in consumer durables," said Amol Agarwal, economist at STCI Primary Dealership.

The change in the base year will also bring the factory output data in line with the gross domestic product number wholesale price index, which will make its easier to interpret the data and add relevance to the print, he added.

indo-pak cricket match a political review

indo-pak semi final cricket match a political review

a game of politics was played by cricket for a future nonviolence between India and Pakistan  ,
we all waiting for the result ,but nothing happened because ,no one take this opportunity to use for the political instability between india and pakistan .Indian press was looking this one as a battle  without region and problem without solution .

Yousuf Raza Gilani, the prime minister of Pakistan, has accepted an invitation from his Indian counterpart, Manmohan Singh, to attend the game while several government ministers, industrialists and Bollywood stars are on the VIP list.but we campare it with 2005 match.
Cricket and diplomacy have been seen in action before in India with General Pervez Musharraf attending a match between the two nations in 2005 but relations have been severely strained since the Mumbai attacks, allegedly orchestrated by militants in Pakistan.

The visit by Gilani is an important first step along the road to healing relations and the Indian government cannot afford any form of incident this week with delicate talks focusing on anti-terrorism between the two nations due to be held in Delhi on March 28.....

wait what will be next way to make a good relationship and good relationship with our counter part neighbor ......
